ICOM IC-M423G VHF marine transceiver features a built-in GPS receiver that shows your current position and time. The IC-M423G also includes a built-in Class D DSC watch function which monitors Channel 70 activities such as distress, urgency, safety, and position request/report, even while receiving on another channel.
The IC-M423G VHF marine radio features a digital signal processing technology, a built-in active noise cancelling function to reduce background noise by up to 90% on the incoming signal, and 30% on the transmitting signal, providing clear communication even in a noisy maritime environment.
The ICOM IC-M423G also features a built-in 10W amplifier that increases the audio output to an external PA speaker as well as a public address function, which allows you to make an announcement from the microphone like a loud speaker, the foghorn can also be emitted from the external PA speaker.
The optional backlit COMMANDMIC™ provides you with the convenience to use IC-M423G from a seperate cabin or tower, while allowing you to control all functions of the radio from the COMMANDMIC. The COMMANDMIC can also be used as an intercom with the ICOM IC-M423G.
