Dual Direction Solenoids are used in conjunction with remote Up/Down panel, Auto Anchor Rode Counters, roving hand held remote controls and/or footswitches to switch the motor in the required direction. Heavy-duty solenoids, suitably rated for our winch motors.

Available in 12V DC for permanent magnet and series wound motors. Installation in a dry area is always recommended. Single Direction Solenoids should be used where only single direction motor rotation is necessary, e.g. capstan winches. The advantages of using a single direction solenoid, instead of a heavy duty switch are: Shorter runs of heavy duty wiring, thus saving cost. Multiple input sources possible, E.g. foot switch, remote control, etc. Less chance of arcing. Arcing reduces the life of electrical contacts.

For Remote areas and bulky items. If the cost to send is vastly different to our standard delivery costs, someone from our team will contact you prior to dispatch to arrange further payment or to issue a refund if you are not happy with the additional charges.

International orders will be charged at $0.00 initially and our staff will be in contact with a shipping quote. If the quote is not accepted the customer reserves the right to cancel their order and be refunded in full.
